Samsa is a traditional, hearty, and aromatic pastry loved throughout Uzbekistan.
It is made from puff pastry and can be filled with a variety of fillings such as meat, herbs, potatoes, pumpkin, and more — each offering its own unique taste and aroma.
In this workshop, the baker will demonstrate all the secrets of making authentic Samarkand samsa — from kneading the dough and preparing the filling to baking it in a traditional tandoor oven.
Guests will have the opportunity to participate in the process and then enjoy freshly baked samsa.
