Watercolor painting is an art technique that uses water-based paints to create transparent, light, and airy layers.
It helps convey depth, light, and mood, while for participants it becomes a true meditation and immersion into creativity.
The workshop will be conducted by Shekhroz Shavkatovich Yunusov, a Samarkand artist with more than 30 years of experience. Born in 1975 into a family of teachers, from childhood he was passionate about music, sports, and painting.
In 1989, he entered the Samarkand Art School named after H.A. Abdurassulov, where he studied painting for 5 years.
After graduation, he began working at a porcelain factory under the guidance of chief artist Mahtob Ashurovna Turdiyeva, who was the first to recognize his talent and helped him open an art workshop on the Registan Square.
For more than 22 years, Shekhroz Yunusov worked on Registan Square and later continued his creative activity at the Chorsu Gallery.
He has participated in international exhibitions and is a member of the Academy of Arts and the Association of Craftsmen of Uzbekistan.
At the workshop, guests will be introduced to the basics of watercolor techniques and, under the guidance of the master, will create their own artworks.
